As Barrett Hospital Foundation’s Executive Director, Brooke Erb collaborates with the Foundation Board of Directors, leadership team, and department managers to bring philanthropic support to Barrett Hospital & HealthCare. Her strategic outreach to community members and local leaders has brought a new level of financial stewardship to Barrett Hospital Foundation.
Brooke excels in connecting donors to the projects and services they are passionate about in the advancement of healthcare. She enjoys cultivating these relationships, ensuring such vital connections are made. Brooke prioritizes authenticity in all her communications and believes it’s crucial in building a foundation of trust. This culture of honesty and transparency translates to the work of the Barrett Hospital Foundation Team. Barrett Hospital Foundation was recognized as the 2021 Community Organization of the Year.
Having lived in Dillon for over 45 years, Brooke knows the area very well. She has worked for the three largest industries in Southwestern Montana – agriculture, education, and healthcare. Prior to coming to the Foundation, Brooke served as Office Manager for the Associated Students at Montana Western. She and her husband own and operate a cow/calf and yearling operation, and raise quarter horses. They received the 2017 Jane Helm Maddock Service Award and have received national recognition for their work in wildlife conservation.
Brooke studied at Montana State University. She has served on the Montana Environmental Quality Council, Youth Connections Mentoring Program, and Patient Advisory Council. For Brooke, agriculture is her lifeblood. It’s a good day when she starts the morning by navigating her way to work through a cattle drive. She enjoys her grandchildren, her dogs, cooking for friends, art, and travel.
